Hurry! ideas for fundraising!?

We are fundraising for a turtle sanctuary in about three weeks. We will do a wash car, but my friends wanted to add a donation drive. What can we do with the donation drive? I think for every donation of $ 2, everyone will have a button or a bookmark. Nothing fancy or expensive, just something simple but effective and improtantly, encourage people to donate. I am good at art and drawing and photoshopping, by way. Thus, any idea what level is acceptable.

Buttons may be too expensive, the supply could eat your profits. The bookmarks are good. put lots of turtles on them!.

How can I learn how to draw cartoons old Warner Bros. style?

I especially really detailed, realistic, graphite paper illustrations. I really want to learn to cartoon. I really do not like anything "Anime" stuff. I always loved things such as Warner Bros. Bugs, Bunny Road Runner, and such, and I would really draw in this style. Anyone know where I could get online tutorials or specific book that can teach beginners to intermediate artists how to do what I just mentioned? Thank you!

I'm an art student at Art Institute of Illinois and I'm majoring in animation. A very good book I recommend is the animators survival guide. It shows through numerous positions and walk cycles, and how to exaggerate your characters to make them more real. Another good source is to simply copy the ones you prefer. practice of drawing as the Road Runner in many positions, and then eventually try to draw him into your own installation. Also look up the original Disney animators, they built the foundations of animation throughout the world.

Maybe you can start by using a viewer. Im sure this is what they call again. You put a regular picture anyhting on top of the box, when the light shines through the image that you can put a piece of paper over this track and the image below. Perhaps You can start by tracing, then once you do a bunch of times, try-it-yourself memory. You can also search the books of anatomy. Maybe take a picture of yourself and study the hell out of him. Draw it and try to keep the same proportions that they are in the image. I do not know how to explain it but what I do. I can not freehand, but I cannot pull my head right. I guess Refrence and repetition is the best.

What a good software to draw cars on a carpet that connects to the computer as a sketchbook?

not AutoCAD

Uh .. Well, if you want to draw on your computer as a drawing on a piece of paper, this is not really an application that will make the difference, but a piece of equipment, like a Wacom tablet, they have an entry level 4X5 pad that goes from $ 99. There are other manufacturers, but you not going to be much cheaper than that. However, read your question, you already assume * a particular piece of equipment is in demand. Well, in general, you prefer an application that has the support of several layers, can give a good brush (ie airbrush) effects, can give you straight lines (if needed), circles smoothly, pressure sensitivity, refined scale / rotation and alleys editable (vector graphics for example). Unfortunately, I have not seen an app that has everything like that. Sketchpad Pro 2 (Alias, the makers of Maya – 3D app crucial for Pixar) has almost aloud, except that it is not vector and everything is drawn by hand (which you can make lines with the Shift key, but no circles). The latest version of Flash has almost all the above, but it does sort of "correct" lines drawn, what annoys me .. and their closest good thing, the lines of the airbrush unclear as is their new feature. Of course, the application is proverbial Adobe Illustrator, but from the little I lived it, the learning curve is steep … but it could be interesting because it is an industry standard. But these costs a pretty penny (I've used at school). A couple of freebie applications to verify such PaintDotNet and GIMP, they each have merits, but without often results in limited functionality and lack of technical support. Of the two I lean PaintDotNet because it was originally baby Microsoft and designed to modernize and replace the more limited MS Paint, but development did not end when the release of Microsoft XP.
