If I draw a cartoon character that is copied from the book disney am i violating the laws of copyrigth?
I am very good at drawing and you can draw any thing, as long as I have an image copied. Many people I know say I should make a portfolio and start a small business in children's hospitals local children and the general public, tend to do better cartoon characters. but was not sure whether he was violating any law? please help me because I would like do this, but I do not get into any trouble
If you make pictures just for you, then there is no legal problems. However, if you sell the plans, even in the form of murals painted on the walls, which would certainly be in violation of copyright laws. And Disney, in particular, aggressively pursuing the unlicensed use of their images. http://www.copyright.gov.

What is the origin of X in the eyes of cartoon character which means they're dead?
I have seen all my life, I wonder if there is a meaning behind it, or is it just an easy way to clean to draw cartoon characters dead. What was your fair use?
It something the Japanese manga magazine invented to make their most entertaining, but rarely means dead, but unconscious.

I want to learn to draw, I can draw cartoons well enough, but I want to draw REALISTIC. Any realistic people, children, trees, flowers, animals, objects. Any tips on free websites? Long list that includes tips and sites receiving best answer. I do not think the use drawing as part of my future, but I want to do a portfolio.
http://studiochalkboard.evansville.edu I do not know what else http://drawinglab.evansville.edu say. There are other web sites, but the best advice is if you want to draw realistically and then draw realistic – oh, the proportions of each are yours. Therefore the use of the proportions in the Figure Drawing Lab as guidelines, not rules.

Christians: is it against the will of God to use cartoon animals to convey the Gospel to children?
I am a cartoonist. I want ot make a comic book series for children and I would like to know-is it against God’s will to use cartoon animals to convey the Gospel to children? A lot of people draw cartoon animals because drawing cartoon animals and other non-human things is easy to do. Is this inappropriate? They have programs out there like God Rocks and Veggie Tales and Little Dogs On the Prairie, which I have heard up and have seen and they are successful. What are your views on this? If it’s inappropriate I will not do this-I will stick to drawing people. I ask because my mother is a pastor and she told me God used animals very infrequently in the Bible and I should use people. Please help me out-thank you.
Tao what is wrong with it?
It may not be against the will of any god but it is certainly unethical and immoral.
Hands off our children.
Edit:
What is wrong with child abuse? Are you kidding me?
There’s a reason why in some places you can’t give toys away when selling unhealthy food. Think a Happy Meal from McDonalds. Religious indoctrination is the same way. Let these kids grow up at least to the point where they can critically examine the issues. Much better than filling their heads with nonsense at a young age so as to stunt their intellectual growth or torture them with hell and other nonsensical concepts.
http://mwillett.org/atheism/religion-is-child-abuse.htm
If you’re so right about the god you believe in, then as adults these kids will see Christianity as self-evident and there is no need to brainwash them when they are young. What, are you afraid they won’t believe in your magical sky daddy if you don’t indoctrinate them using fluffy bunnies?
Also, I’m curious… if you don’t feel you can use animals, what are you going to use to depict the talking donkey?
LEAVE THE CHILDREN ALONE.

I like to draw .. How to turn it into cartoons or videos?
My friend and I have a notebook where we draw designs Anime and write stories .. essentially a satire of our work life that keeps us entertained and our boss. lol anyway, we want to these videos online in our website, but we do not know how to create them. Is there any software that you can your images and helps to animate? them or should we leave that the drawings and just put captions and make the voices for the characters or upload you guys have any ideas or suggestions. What have you seen or that you loved. thank you guys!
Some of the best commercial 2D animation programs such as Digicel Flipbook, Toon Boom, TVPaint, TAB, and PAP, have versions Express Student or that are relatively cheap. However, you may be disappointed by how crippled these stripped down programs are compared their more expensive versions of Pro. But if you look hard enough you should be able to find them cracked online (rapidshare, bittorrent). There are free alternatives. If you're old school drawn on paper frame by frame stuff or stop-motion or 2D, I suggest you MonkeyJam. It's free. Http: / / www.giantscreamingrobotmonkeys.com / MonkeyJam If you're on a Mac, use Pencil (there are versions for PC and Linux as well). http://www.les-stooges.org/pascal/pencil/index.php If you want to do animation Flash as the stuff on Newgrounds.com, either break down and buy Adobe Flash or you can try CreaToon or Synfig, which are free. They're not Flash, but they also symbol oriented animation function vector. Drawing cartoon pictures?
I used to use MS Paint to draw little cartoons and funny things but it is a bit pixilated and bland. I want a free software that will allow me to easily draw things in a style similar to the guy on this page http://www.newgrounds.com/game/ to the right of the top 5 weekly. There are games with this guy did with the flash, but I did not, whats a good program to do something like that? Easy to use too.
Inkscape is free and uses the same set of tools Macromedia Flash, the two drawers are vector Unlike painting which is raster (or pixelly) Inkscape is very easy to draw with (at least for me). It works much like Corel Draw and Illustrator to get it www.inkscape.org
